Release Notes

New Features

  • MDM-E/Gen5 can now be ordered with mixed types of MDI-cards within the same system.
  • A Screenshot can now be created using keyboard hotkey (CTRL+Print). Screenshots are now using PNG format.
  • The Streamdeck can now be used to switch layouts on screen-only displays (without KM functionality)
  • Local-UI context menu can be configured to provide all features but administrator.

Bug fixes

  • Display arrangement in dynamic mode, EDID scan has been corrected
  • Bugfixes concerning the usage of ou to 8 displays with 4 segments per input
  • The Default-Layout has been corrected after a change in the number of segments per input
  • Smaller fixes

External software interface / remote interface changes

  • Input channels are now referenced with a single integer numbers only (no “input.segment”). This holds for functions and event notifications. To Get/Set the segment data, use Get/SetSegment function. 
  • If the number of segments per input and display is set to a fixed value, the segments of inputs are no longer referenced as large numbers across displays. This holds for functions and event notifications. Always reference both, the display + the segment_identifer.
  • The configured number of segments per input and per display is now part of GetSystemConfiguration
  • New event notification #17 for Reset-To-Factory has been introduced
  • New event notifications #126, #127, #128 for config backup/restore have been introduced
  • New event notification #132 for input-channel change has been introduced
  • An updated documentation is available under NDA

Known Bugs

  • Using display setting / power saving / layout recover mode „last modified layout“ may cause unexpected moving of windows. This will be fixed in next release
  • Using display setting / mouse mode “auto-connect”, the inputs have KM to be configured in mode „click outside window“, otherwise the mouse cursor is hidden. This will be fixed in next release.
